Description
Every March, as the sun starts to show its face again and the weather starts to warm up, I get a craving for fresh fruit. I’m not sure where that desire hides all winter, but come spring, I want nothing more than berries and pineapple and kiwis and mango and … well, you get the idea. So, on my last grocery trip, I purchased just about every fruit in the produce department, while visions of smoothies danced in my head.
Ingredients
- 1 whole Banana, Sliced
- ½ cups Blueberries
- 5 whole Strawberries, Quartered
- 1 whole Kiwi, Quartered
- ½ cups Pinapple, Cubed
- ½ cups Greek Yogurt (2%)
- ½ cups Skim Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Ice
Preparation
This smoothie really couldn’t be more simple. Just chop up your fruit, throw it into a blender. Top with yogurt, milk, honey and vanilla. Add ice. Blend until smooth.
I garnished mine with fresh strawberries and a drizzle of honey. Delish!
