Ingredients

  • FOR THE WINGS:
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 pounds Fresh Chicken Wings
  • Vegetable Oil, Enough For An Inch Or Two In Your Frying Pot
  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • 1-½ stick Butter, Melted
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Hot Sauce
  • ¼ cups BBQ Sauce, Your Favorite
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Garlic

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Mix together the flour, garlic powder, black pepper and salt in a large bowl. Toss wings in flour mixture and shake off excess.

Arrange wings on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet that you’ve sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 40 minutes and then remove them from the oven and allow to cool.

Wings can be tossed in sauce now, however frying them will create a much better wing.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot to 375 F. Put wings into the pot in a single layer. Fry wings in the hot oil for 12-15 minutes. Drain wings and toss in sauce.

For the wing sauce:
In a mixing bowl add melted butter, and combine all remaining ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined. Toss cooked wings in sauce, serve and enjoy.
