Description
Simple baked fries that are loaded with garlic and fresh sage. A perfect snack or side dish to any meal.
Ingredients
- 8 whole Yukon Gold Potatoes, Cut Into Matchsticks
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- ½ cups Fresh Sage, Chopped
- ¼ cups Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt To Taste
- ¼ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Soak sliced potatoes in cold water for about 5 minutes, then strain, rinse, and pat dry. Transfer to a large bowl. Add garlic, sage, olive oil, and salt, and toss to make sure potatoes are lightly coated.
Transfer fries to a baking sheet (I like to add parchment paper for easier cleanup) and place in the oven. Cook for about 25 minutes or until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
Remove, plate, and shower with Parmesan cheese.
