Description

Deliciously spiced granola that will turn you away from ever buying store bought granola again!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • ¼ cups White Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Flax Seeds
  • 1 cup Nuts, Chopped
  • ½ cups Coconut
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • ⅛ teaspoons Cloves
  • ⅛ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ cups Molasses
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • ½ cups Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1-½ teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Heat the molasses, honey, applesauce and vanilla over medium heat until just boiling. Pour the liquid over the dry ingredients and mix until all of the oats are coated evenly. Pour mixture onto a baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake for about 25 minutes, until nice and toasted.
