Description

Granola full of ginger, cinnamon, nuts and honey!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rolled Oats
  • ¾ cups Wheat Germ
  • ½ cups Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 cup Almonds, Chopped
  • 1 cup Walnuts, Chopped
  • 1 cup Pecans, Chopped
  • ½ cups Flax Seed
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ cups Maple Syrup
  • ½ cups Honey
  • ½ cups Canola Oil
  • ½ cups Applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300 F. In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients (oats through flax seed).

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, salt, syrup, honey, oil, applesauce, vanilla, cinnamon and ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat then pour it over the dried ingredients stirring to coat.

Spread granola on a large baking sheet that you’ve covered in foil. Bake in a 300 F oven for about 25 minutes, stirring halfway through the bake time. Remove pan from the oven and let granola cool completely before adding chocolate chips.
