A sweet and spicy, healthy comfort drink with a tiny kick.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 1-½ cup Milk (or Dairy Free Milk Of Your Choice)
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoons Nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoons Black Pepper
- 2 Dates, Pitted
- ½ teaspoons Fresh Ginger, Peeled
Preparation
Place coconut milk, milk, spices and pepper in a small saucepan and heat on a medium heat until hot (do not boil). The mixture will go golden yellow as it heats up. Allow the milk mixture to cool for about 5 minutes (or as long as your blender specifies).
Pour the milk mixture into the blender with the dates and ginger and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour the latte into mugs and enjoy.
