Ham & Swiss Croissant French Toast Bake

Description

An easy make-ahead dish that you can bake while you are visiting with guests. Brew some coffee, set out some fresh fruit and voila!

Ingredients

  • 8 whole Large Croissants
  • 16 slices Ham
  • 16 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 5 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1-½ cup Half-and-half

Preparation

Grease a 9″x13″ baking pan.

Cut each croissant in half, then cut across to open as top and bottoms (you should have 2 “sandwiches” per croissant).

Fill each “sandwich” with one slice of ham and one slice of Swiss cheese. Fill the pan with the sandwiches.

Mix eggs, vanilla and half-and-half. Pour over the croissants. Cover and chill overnight.

Bake covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees (F). Uncover and bake for 10 more minutes.
