Ingredients
- 6 Country Style Pork Ribs
- ½ cups Dry Rub For Pork (Recipe Below)
- FOR THE DRY RUB:
- 8 Tablespoons Turbinado Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Granulated Garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
- ½ Tablespoons Granulated Onion
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ancho Chile Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Chipotle Chile Powder
- 1 teaspoon Gebhardt’s Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Preparation
Combine ingredients for the dry rub and mix well. Season the country style pork ribs liberally with the dry rub. Place seasoned ribs in the refrigerator for at least an hour put preferably 4 to 5 hours to let the dry rub melt into the meat.
Set smoker to 225ºF with hickory as the smoke wood. Smoke the country style ribs for approximately 90 minutes until an internal temperature of 150ºF is reached.
If desired, brush the pork with barbecue sauce or, even better, melted peach preserves. Eat and grin!
