Description

This time of year, I love to bake and to cook all kinds of tasty sweets. This is a homemade chocolate fudge, very easy to make and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 100 milliliters Water
  • 150 grams Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 120 grams Softened Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 250 grams Powdered Milk
  • 50 grams Powdered Cocoa
  • 50 grams Roasted Hazelnuts, Quartered
  • 30 grams Roasted Walnuts, Quartered
  • 1 Tablespoon Raisins

Preparation

Heat a sauce pan and add water, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt, stirring until dissolved. Simmer for several minutes syrupy. To check if it’s ready, drop a little bit of syrup in cold water—if the drop sticks together, the syrup is ready. Add butter and vanilla and mix until butter is dissolved.

Combine powdered milk with cocoa and gradually add it to the syrup. Then add hazelnuts, walnuts, and raisins. Combine well.

Line a square pan with plastic and pour the mixture in. Let cool at room temperature for at least 4 hours.
