    Description

    Ingredients

    • 4 whole Cardomom Pods
    • 2-¼ cups Water
    • 4 bags Regular Tea Bags (individual Size Bag)
    • 1 whole Star Anise
    • 1 stick Cinnamon
    • ¼ cups Sugar
    • 2 cups Half-and-half

    Preparation

    Press the cardamom pods until they crack. Bring the water, tea bags, star anise, cinnamon and cardamom to a boil in a saucepan. Boil for 3-5 minutes until the tea is black and has reduced to about 2 cups. Strain it into a pitcher and add the sugar and stir to combine. Add the half-and-half and stir until everything is warmed through.

    Place the used cardamom pods in the bottom of the cups for good friends.
