Description
Juicy pork chops with wine.
Ingredients
- 2 whole (1)-inch Thick Pork Chops
- 1 clove Garlic
- Salt And Pepper
- ¼ cups Wine, White Or Red
- Olive Oil
Preparation
Wash meat thoroughly and pat it dry really well with kitchen towels.
Halve garlic clove lengthwise and rub it all over the meat on both sides. Season with salt and pepper.
Bring skillet over medium-high heat and place meat directly on it. Brown chops for 2 minutes each side.
Pour a splash of wine on top and flip the chops around. At this point, add a little bit of oil and lower heat to medium-low. Cook for 4 more minutes, turning the chops once or twice more.
Once chops are done, remove from pan and place on a plate. Drizzle pan juices on top and let it sit for a few minutes.
Note: A total of 11 minutes cooking should give you a cooked-through tender pink chop. If you are using a thermometer, it will register about 63ºC (145ºF) internal temperature. If you prefer your meat cooked more, give it another 2 minutes.
