Yeah! We finally had weather cold enough to enjoy hot cocoa! After picking out the Christmas tree in shorts and flip-flops, a little cold weather feels very seasonal. My mom and I enjoyed a cup of this while trimming the tree. You could do the math and make a gallon of this stuff and enjoy all night, but this recipe is for a cozy pair of drinks!
Ingredients
- 2 cups Water
- 2 sticks Cinnamon
- 2 packages (about 1 Oz. Size) Instant Cocoa
- 1 ounce, fluid Kahlua Or Other Coffee Flavored Liqueur
Preparation
Put water and cinnamon sticks in a pot and bring to a boil. Let boil 10 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks.
Stir in instant cocoa and add Kahlua. Pour into two mugs and enjoy!
