Description

This Sun Tea is perfect for those without a sweet tooth! I cannot handle things too sweet; this tea is mellow and smooth with an earthy kick from the lemon balm herb.

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts Cold Water
  • 5 bags Regular Tea
  • 6 sprigs Lemon Balm

Preparation

Pour 2 quarts of cold water into your sun tea pitcher or into a glass jar with a lid.

Steep the tea bags in the water and add the lemon balm sprigs.

Screw your lid on and move it outside to a nice sunny place!

How long it sets in the sun is really up to you and depends on how long you’d like it to steep. I set mine out first thing in the morning. When the sun goes down, I bring it in and place it in the fridge overnight, then enjoy it the next day over ice with a fresh picked lemon balm sprig for garnish!

Note: This tea is NOT a sweet tea! It is a smooth, natural tasting tea. Perfect to refresh on a hot day! Enjoy.
