Sweet, tart and refreshing cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Sanding Sugar For Garnish (optional)
- 2 ounces, fluid White Rum
- 1 ounce, fluid Fresh Lemon Juice
- ½ ounces, fluid Triple Sec
- ½ ounces, fluid Simple Syrup (store Bought Or Homemade)
- 2 Lemon Wedges
- Ice, To Fill Your Cocktail Shaker
Preparation
Pour the sanding sugar into a shallow dish, run a wedge of lemon around the rim of a cocktail glass, then dip the rim into the sugar. Chill the glass for a few minutes.
Add the rum, lemon juice, Triple Sec and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Put the lid on, shake well and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a wedge of lemon, if desired.
