Description
A sparkling non-alcoholic herbed limeade, so refreshing on a warm day!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Fresh Lime Juice (for 1 Cup You’ll Need About 6 Limes)
- ¾ cups Sugar
- 8 sprigs Fresh Thyme (or More)
- 2 whole Limes (just The Peels)
- 4 cups Club Soda (or More)
Preparation
Combine lime juice and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. This will take about 3-4 minutes.
Add 5-6 springs of thyme, and the peels from 2 limes, and cook another 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and put the syrup into a container.
Chill the syrup in the fridge until completely cooled, at least one hour or preferably overnight.
Remove lime peels and thyme, and combine syrup with club soda. Pour into your serving glasses. Garnish glasses with additional fresh thyme.
