Make ahead for a special breakfast treat.
Ingredients
- ½ cups Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 loaf French Bread
- 5 whole Eggs
- 1-½ cup Whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
Preparation
Melt butter in the microwave. Add brown sugar and stir until syrupy. Pour into the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
Cut bread into 1-inch slices. Place on top of the syrup mixture.
Mix eggs, milk, and vanilla. Pour over bread.
Soak in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, bake for 45 minutes at 300ºF.
