Description

This is a great, flavorful cider for fall!

Ingredients

  • ½ gallons Apple Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ Tablespoons Whole Cloves
  • ½ Tablespoons Whole All-Spice
  • ¼ teaspoons Maple Flavoring (optional)

Preparation

I prepared mine in a percolator, but I think you could just bring all the ingredients to a boil and strain if you don’t have a percolator.

1. Start by pouring the apple juice and maple flavoring into the water portion of the percolator. If you don’t like maple, feel free to leave it out and just make regular spiced apple cider.
2. If your percolator has a filter basket, place the all-spice, cloves and cinnamon in there. (You could also use a couple of cinnamon sticks in place of ground cinnamon, but that was all I had on hand.) If your percolator doesn’t have a filter basket, you can just put all of the ingredients in with the apple juice and strain.
3. Start percolating and serve when done!
