Ingredients

  • 4 cups Oats
  • ¼ cups Flax Meal
  • 1 cup Pecans, Chopped
  • ¼ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Allspice
  • ¼ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ⅓ cups Maple Syrup
  • ⅓ cups Unsweetened Applesauce
  • ¼ teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1-½ cup Dates, Chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300ºF.

Combine the oats, flax meal, pecans, spices, and salt in a large bowl.

In a small bowl mix the wet ingredients, and then stir them into the dry.

Spread the granola on a rimmed baking sheet or two. Bake for about 45 to 60 minutes, until golden brown, stirring every 15 minutes or so. Then remove the pans from the oven and set them on racks. Add the dates after the granola has finished baking. Enjoy!
