Maple Walnut Muesli with Strawberries

Description

Make-ahead, no-cook, simple and easy Swiss breakfast cereal: Muesli.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Instant Oats
  • ¼ cups Store-bought Granola With Raisins
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Walnut
  • ¼ cups Hot Water
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 6  Strawberries, Hulled, Chopped/quartered
  • 1-½ teaspoon Sugar
  • 7 ounces, weight Plain Greek Yogurt
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Put the oats, granola and walnuts in a bowl. Add the hot water, maple syrup and pinch of salt and soak for 15 minutes.

While the oats are soaking, prepare the strawberries, put them in a bowl, add the sugar to them and allow them to macerate.

Mix the vanilla with the yogurt in a small bowl. Separate the oats into two serving bowls, top with yogurt and berries and serve!
