Description
I believe nachos should be a meal and not just some chips with some melted cheese drizzled over the top.
I know what I am going to have when the volcano blows! And this is it.
Ingredients
- ½ bags (11 To 13 Oz. Size) Tortilla Chips
- 1 cup Shredded Mexican Cheese
- 1-½ cup Margaritaville Chili (See My TK Recipe Box)
- 1 cup Pico De Gallo
- 1 cup Guacamole
- ½ cups Sliced Jalapeños
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- ½ cups Fresh Cilantro, Stems Removed
Preparation
Preheat oven for broiling.
In a medium bowl (or size of your choice), layer chips, then some cheese, chili, pico de gallo, and more cheese. Repeat, reserving some pico de gallo for topping.
Place an oven-safe plate or sheet pan on top of the bowl. Carefully, while holding both the bowl and the plate or pan, flip over. Remove bowl—you should end up with a “volcano” of nachos.
Broil in oven for 2–4 minutes until heated and cheese on top has melted. Top with guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapenos, sour cream, and cilantro.
