Description
A delicious, healthier meatball slider using baked meatballs with lots of flavor.
Ingredients
- FOR THE MEATBALLS:
- ⅓ cups Italian Bread Crumbs
- 3 Tablespoons Fresh Chopped Parsley
- ⅛ teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- ¼ teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1 whole Egg
- 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
- ⅔ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Salt And Pepper
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- ½ cups Mozzarella Cheese
- FOR THE SLIDER ASSEMBLY:
- 10 whole Slider Rolls
- 10 slices Mozzarella Cheese
- 16 ounces, weight Marinara Sauce
- 16 leaves Fresh Basil
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Mix first 9 ingredients together in a large bowl. Then add the ground beef and cheese and mix together until incorporated. Form into approximately 10 meatballs. Place meatballs on a rimmed pan that you’ve lined with parchment paper, and bake at 400 F for 15 minutes.
Slice your rolls in half and put the bottom halves on a baking tray. Put the mozzarella cheese slices on the bottom half of each of the rolls. Place into the oven until cheese is melted.
Place a meatball on top of each roll, drizzle a few tablespoons of marinara on top, and finish with a fresh basil leaf and the top of the bun.
