Description
This is my go-to appetizer and has been for well over 25 years. It’s a “dump” recipe that always goes fast! By dump, I mean you dump everything in one container and you’re virtually done.
Ingredients
- 20 ounces, weight Canned Hormel Chili (with Or Without Beans)
- 4-½ ounces, weight Canned Chopped Green Chilies
- 1 package (1 Oz. Size) Taco Seasoning
- ½ cups Chopped Green Onions (optional)
- 12 ounces, weight Velveeta Cheese, Cubed
- Tortilla Chips, To Serve
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 F. Place all ingredients (except chips) into a 2-3 quart casserole dish and mix together. Bake for 45-60 minutes. Remove from oven. Give it a stir and serve up with your favorite tortilla chips.
Note: This can also be warmed in the crockpot. Place all ingredients in crockpot and warm on low for 4-6 hours stirring occasionally.
