Description
Mint and lime create the perfect level of ‘refreshing’ in this dangerously delicious sangria!
Ingredients
- 20 leaves Fresh Mint, Washed
- 4 Limes, Washed And Sliced Thin
- 1 Lemon, Washed And Sliced Thin
- ¼ cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 Small Pineapple, Peeled, Cored And Cut Into 1-inch Chunks
- ½ cups White Rum
- 4 cups Lemon/Lime Soda
- ¾ cups Pineapple Juice
- 1 bottle (750 Ml Size) Dry White Wine (I Used Pinot Grigio)
- GARNISH:
- Mint Leaves
- Lime Wedges
Preparation
Note this should refrigerate for at least 3 hours, so plan ahead!
In a large pitcher, press the mint leaves, limes, lemon and sugar with a muddler or a wooden spoon. Add the pineapple chunks. Pour in the the rum, soda, pineapple juice and wine. Stir well.
Cover and refrigerate for approximately 3-4 hours before serving so that the flavours get to hang out and mingle. Otherwise the bevvy may taste too boozy.
Once it’s time to serve, pour into glasses and garnish with mint leaves and lime wedges.
