Description
I do not skip breakfast. Some mornings I have time to cook some eggs and actually sit down at the table. Most mornings, I don’t have that extra time. I have been blending my breakfast for years! This blend contains roughly 50 grams of protein.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Nonfat Greek Yogurt
- 1 cup Pasteurized Liquid Egg Whites
- 1 cup Frozen Mixed Berries
- 1 teaspoon Stevia
- ½ Avocado
- 1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
Preparation
In a blender, combine the ingredients listed above. Blend and enjoy. If the texture is too thick, add a little milk to thin it out a bit.
Notes:
•You can use any frozen fruit or fresh fruit such as bananas and berries. You can also add chopped leafy greens. I love the silky texture that avocado adds.
• Do not use raw egg whites. Consumption of raw foods can cause food borne illness. Use pasteurized egg whites.
