Start your morning off right with these paleo-friendly, dairy-free, No-Bake Energy Bars with Chocolate and Turmeric!
Ingredients
- ½ cups Almond Butter
- ¼ cups Coconut Oil, Melted
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Turmeric
- 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 2 Tablespoons Ground Flaxseed Meal
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¼ cups Dark Chocolate Chips, Paleo Friendly (optional)
Preparation
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on the slowest setting, you don’t want the mixture to become too runny.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour mixture and form a 1/4 inch thick square. Add a few dark chocolate chips on top. Place in freezer for at least 2 hours, the more the merrier.
Remove from freezer, add dark chocolate drizzle (optional) and cut into squares. Leave leftovers in the freezer, not the fridge, it will taste much better!
