A quick, easy homemade granola recipe that is lower in sugar and can be customized with your favorite add-ins.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 cup Pecans, Roughly Chopped
- Pinch Of Salt
- ¼ cups Liquid Coconut Oil
- ¼ cups Maple Syrup
- FOR THE OPTIONAL ADD-INS:
- ½ cups Dark Chocolate Chips
- ¾ cups Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
- ½ cups Dried Fruit Of Choice
Preparation
Preheat oven to 300ºF.
Add oats, chopped pecans, and salt to a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
In a small bowl, whisk coconut oil and maple syrup. Pour liquid over oat mixture and toss until evenly coated.
Place mixture on lined cookie sheet and place in oven. Cook oat mixture for 50–60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until oats are golden brown.
Allow granola to cool completely. Toss in optional add-ins. Enjoy!
