Not your average chocolate chip cookie! Bet you can’t eat just one.
Ingredients
- 1-½ cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1-¼ cup Flour
- 1 cup Oats
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 cup Walnuts, Coarsely Chopped
- 12 ounces, weight Dark Chocolate Chips
Preparation
Heat oven to 375ºF.
In a large mixing bowl, beat brown sugar, butter, egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, oats and baking soda. Dough will be stiff. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 minutes or until light brown around the edges. Let cool slightly and transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
