Description

This cookie will satisfy the oatmeal cookie lover and even the chocolate chip cookie lover. They are chewy in the middle and a little crispy on the edges. The combination of dark chocolate and dried cranberries will bring you smiles and compliments from your friends and family.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • 2  Large Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 1-¾ cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1-½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Quick Oats
  • 1 cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven 375ºF. Line half-sheet pans with parchment paper or silicone mats.

Combine sugar, brown sugar, and butter until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until creamy.

Slowly add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt until well-mixed. Fold in oatmeal, then dried cranberries, followed by dark chocolate chips.

Bake 9 minutes for chewy cookies, or 11 minutes for a little crispier cookie.

Makes 40-46 cookies with a size 50 cookie scoop.
