One-Pan Italian Chicken Skillet

A simple one pan dish that can be made in less than 15 minutes!

Ingredients

  • ½ Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 whole Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, Pounded To Even Thickness
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Sliced
  • 1 cup Canned Crushed Tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • ¼ teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 16 slices From Fresh Mini Mozzarella Cheese Balls
  • 1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Turn on the broiler in your oven.

Add olive oil into an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Saute chicken until fully cooked flipping to brown both sides. Takes about 4 minutes per side. Then add the sliced garlic and saute for a minute. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer. This takes about 1-2 minutes.

Take skillet off the heat and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Place skillet under the broiler for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately!
