Description

20-minute Orange Teriyaki Salmon. Salmon fillets pan-fried and topped with an orange teriyaki glaze. A quick and easy weeknight meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 2 whole Salmon Fillets, Skin On
  • ¼ cups Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • ⅛ cups Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • Green Onions And Sesame Seeds, For Garnish (optional)

Preparation

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add salmon fillets and cook 3–4 minutes on each side until desired doneness. (Don’t forget to remove skin before serving.)

Meanwhile, add soy sauce, water, brown sugar, vinegar and orange juice to a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer.

Add cornstarch and water to a small bowl and whisk to combine. Slowly whisk cornstarch mixture into the sauce and simmer until thickened, 2–3 minutes.

Serve immediately with orange teriyaki sauce drizzled on top. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
