Description

Crisp and garlicky oven-baked salmon fillets infused with fresh herbs and ready under 30 minutes. Perfect for a weekday dinner or sophisticated lunch party. Kid-friendly, too.

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces, weight Skin On Salmon Fillets
  • ⅓ cups Fresh Lemon Juice (or More, To Taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 3 Tablespoons Freshly Chopped Basil Leaves
  • Salt And Black Pepper To Taste

Preparation

Lay salmon fillets skin side down on nonstick baking pan.

In a small mixing bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, basil, salt and pepper. Rub all over the salmon using a kitchen brush or your fingers. Let coated salmon fillets sit in the fridge for 10 minutes (optional, but it allows fillets to absorb marinade and adds richness).

Take fillets out of fridge and cover cooking pan with aluminum foil. Place in preheated oven and bake until almost done (approximately 10–15 minutes in my oven). Remove foil in the last 5–7 minutes of baking. Serve while still hot.
