Description

I love sleeping in. With this in mind, I am always looking for ways to cut down on breakfast prep time. This is an incredibly easy recipe, especially for a rushed morning. I usually make these oats in a mason jar, making them easy to grab when heading off to work.

I added blueberries and hazelnuts, but any type of fruit/nut combo works well. You can also add chia seeds for extra fiber and protein! Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oatmeal, Old Fashioned
  • 1-⅓ cup Milk, Dairy Or Non-dairy
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 dash Salt
  • ½ cups Blueberries
  • 2 Tablespoons Hazelnuts, Toasted And Chopped

Preparation

Mix oats, milk, cinnamon and salt in a glass jar or a bowl. Stir well, cover, and refrigerate overnight (or at least for 8 hours).

The next morning, remove from fridge, stir, and top with blueberries and hazelnuts. Add more maple syrup for extra sweetness.
