Description
This Paleo Sticky Honey Chicken is a perfect, quick meal for busy weeknights. It takes little time to make, and is a delicious soy-free, gluten-free meal!
Ingredients
- ¼ cups Tapioca Flour
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ½ teaspoons Pepper
- 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
- ¼ cups Honey
- ¼ cups Coconut Aminos
- ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
- Green Onions, Sliced, For Topping (optional)
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds (optional)
Preparation
In a mixing bowl, add tapioca flour, salt and pepper. Dice chicken into bite-sized pieces and add to the bowl. Toss until chicken is evenly coated with the mixture.
Add honey, coconut aminos, garlic powder and ginger to a bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined.
Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
Add sauce to the pan and lower the heat. Cook until sauce has thickened and chicken is cooked through, about 5 more minutes. Remove from heat.
Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds and serve as desired. Enjoy!
