Only 4 ingredients, incredible flavor, and so fresh and lovely for summer.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Crusty Bread, Such As Ciabatta, Split Lengthwise (horizontally So You Have A Top And A Bottom) Then Sliced Into 4-inch Or So Pieces
  • 3 whole Tomatoes
  • Olive Oil As Needed For Drizzling
  • Coarse Salt To Taste

Preparation

Preheat your oven’s broiler.

Place the bread face up on a baking sheet. Drizzle the cut sides of the bread with olive oil. Broil face up for 3-5 minutes until crispy and charred in some places.

Meanwhile, process the tomatoes in a food processor for a few seconds until roughly chopped and saucy.

Spoon tomatoes over the charred bread and sprinkle with coarse salt. Serve!
