Pasta with meat sauce is mama’s food. It’s soothing, comforting, delicious, and it’s never enough! Roasted minced beef cooked in tomato sauce spread all over pasta accompanied with plenty grated cheese—mmm, I just got hungry!
Ingredients
- 750 grams Pasta Of Your Choice
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- FOR THE MEAT SAUCE:
- 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 kilogram Minced Beef
- 2 Onions
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Grated Nutmeg
- ½ sticks Cinnamon
- 2 Cloves
- 140 grams Tomato Paste
- Salt And Pepper
- 1 cube Chicken Bouillon
- Grated Parmesan, To Serve
Preparation
Add water to a pot. When it comes to a boil, add 1 tablespoon salt and let it dissolve. Add pasta and cook until al dente, usually 7–12 minutes. Drain.
Melt butter in your pot, add cooked pasta and gently stir. Cover your pot and keep warm.
For the meat sauce:
Heat a saucepan and add olive oil. When smoking hot, add beef and cook. When all the liquid has cooked off, continue cooking 5 more minutes.
Blend onions and garlic (and any other desired vegetables, such as leeks, carrots, green or red peppers) and add to the beef. Sauté for 5 minutes, adding olive oil if needed. Add nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and tomato paste. Sauté for 3 minutes.
Add salt, pepper, bouillon cube and enough boiled water to cover your beef. Simmer until all the juices are absorbed.
Serve on top of pasta with plenty grated Parmesan. Enjoy!
