A fresh drink, perfect for summer.
Ingredients
- 2 bags (individual Size) Darjeeling Or Earl Grey Tea
- 6 cups Water, Boiling
- 5 Tablespoons Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Peach Syrup
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 20 leaves Fresh Mint, Cut In Two
- 3 cups Ice Cubes
Preparation
Place tea bags into a large container and add the boiling water. Let bags brew for 1 minute, stiring all the time (let them steep longer if you prefer a stronger ice tea). Remove the bags from the container. Add sugar, peach syrup, lemon juice and mint and stir. Place container in the refrigerator and allow to chill for at least 3 hours. Remove the mint leaves and serve over ice cubes.
