This 10-minute amazing summer appetizer (or dinner) will have your guests saying wow. Promise.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf French Bread, Sliced In Half Lengthwise
- 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
- 1 dash Salt
- 4 ounces, weight Brie Cheese, Thinly Sliced
- 3 whole Ripe Peaches, Pitted And Thinly Sliced
- 1 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil, Chopped
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 F.
Place bread on a baking sheet and brush olive oil over each half. Sprinkle with a dash of salt. Top each half with brie cheese slices and peaches.
Put pan into the oven and bake the bread for 10 minutes; then turn the oven to broil and broil it for 30 seconds or until cheese gets a tiny bit brown and bubbly.
While pizzas are baking, place vinegar in a small saucepan over medium-high heat; cook until reduced to 2 tablespoons (about 5 minutes or so).
Drizzle balsamic reduction evenly over pizza and top with basil. Cut pizza into wedges and serve.
