Description
Peanut butter cookies with 100% whole wheat and less sugar than a bowl of Life cereal (and they’re cheaper too). Just be sure not to eat the whole sheet of them because that sort of nullifies the whole healthy benefits thing.
Ingredients
- 1-¼ cup Whole Wheat Flour
- ¾ teaspoons Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
- ¼ cups Butter, Melted
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons White Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 Tablespoon Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- ⅓ cups Chocolate Chips
Preparation
In a small bowl, sift whole wheat, baking soda, and baking powder.
In large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Add eggs, milk, vanilla.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix. Add chocolate chips if using.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees (F). Take them out even if they don’t look done (seriously).
