Description

A healthier crisp made with pears and apples and topped with a delicious buttery oatmeal crumble.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE OATMEAL TOPPING:
  • ¾ cups Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • FOR THE APPLE PEAR BASE:
  • 1  Apple, Peeled And Diced Into Small Pieces
  • 1  Pear, Peel And Diced Into Small Pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Preparation

In a small bowl, mix topping ingredients. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In an 8×8 inch baking dish or medium size bowl, mix the ingredients for the apple pear base.Top evenly with oatmeal topping.

Bake for 17 minutes or until topping is golden brown and sides are bubbly. Allow to cool for a few minutes and serve as is or with a scoop of your favorite ice cream!
