Pepper Jack Mac ’n’ Cheese

Description

Spicy and cheesy all in one meal.

Ingredients

  • 375 grams Macaroni
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Plain Cream Cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 whole Jalapeno, Chopped
  • 2-½ cups Mixed Grated Cheddar And Monterey Cheese

Preparation

Boil water and cook the macaroni.

In the meantime, heat milk over medium heat. Add cream cheese and stir until dissolved.

Add flour and whisk continuously until milk gets thicker. (You must stir, otherwise it won’t thicken and the milk will burn onto the pot.) Once thick, add jalapeno and grated cheese. Stir until cheese melts.

In a casserole dish, toss in cooked macaroni. Add the cheese sauce and stir until it’s all mixed thoroughly.

Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and top with more jalapenos!
