Description

Behold the perfect smoothie: thick (but not too thick), seriously good for you, and seriously delicious. Good for breakfast or a snack!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Plain, Non-fat Greek Yogurt (I Use Athenos Brand)
  • 1 Tablespoon Milled Flaxseed
  • ¼ cups Blueberries (frozen Or Fresh)
  • ¼ cups Blackberries, Raspberries, Or Mixed Berries (frozen Or Fresh)
  • ¼ cups Dark Cherries (frozen Or Fresh)
  • 1  Splash Of Natural Juice (i Used Natural Lemonade)
  • ½ whole Banana

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour and enjoy! The taste of the smoothie disguises how healthy it is! The yogurt is non-fat, low in sugar, and full of protein. The flaxseed adds omega-3, essential for anyone’s diet, and serves to thicken the smoothie. The fruit provides potassium, fiber, and some serious anti-oxidants. And the splash (seriously, a splash is all you need unless you want a thinner smoothie) of juice tastes so fresh and delicious. It’s my perfect smoothie!
