Simple and super festive! This cheese spread resembles a pine cone and gets everyone into the holiday spirit.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, At Room Temperature
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Or Colby Jack Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 3 Tablespoons Jalapeno Peppers, Chopped
- Pretzel Crisps Or Crackers (to Serve)
- ⅓ cups Sliced Almonds
Preparation
Place cream cheese, cheese, mustard, and peppers in a food processor and process until well blended. Place on a piece of plastic wrap. Shape into a 4 inch tall oval that has a pine cone shape. Insert almonds in rows to completely cover cheese mixture. Loosely wrap it and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve as a spread with crackers or pretzel crisps.
