Description
This twist on the traditional mimosa using ruby red or pink grapefruit juice is perfect for a celebratory brunch or even a fun afternoon snack with friends.
Ingredients
- 4 ounces, fluid Freshly Squeezed Pink Grapefruit Juice
- 4 ounces, fluid Or To Taste Champagne Of Choice
Preparation
Add 2 ounces of pink grapefruit juice into two champagne flutes. Top each with 2 ounces (or more to taste) of champagne of choice. Serve cold.
Notes:
– Champagne doesn’t go flat as quickly as non-alcoholic carbonated beverages so this drink can be made up to 30 minutes in advance with no problem. That way you can get it nice and cold, refrigerating before serving.
– Pink grapefruit juice works best in this recipe when freshly squeezed. – For additional sweetness, honey or simple syrup can be added.
– To make it a little more fancy, rim the glasses in sparkly sanding sugar.
