Description
Spicy pepperoni and gooey cheese come together in this family favorite. It tastes just like pizza, but in pasta form!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 whole Sweet Onion, Diced
- 1 whole Bell Pepper, Diced
- 1 pound Rigatoni
- 1 jar (24 Oz. Size) Pasta Sauce
- 2 cups Water
- 24 slices Pepperoni
- ½ cups Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, Divided
Preparation
In a large Dutch oven, brown ground beef. Cook onion and pepper until softened.
Pour in pasta, marinara, and water. Bring to boil, reduce to simmer. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Stir in pepperoni, parmesan, and 1 cup of mozzarella. Add remaining cheese on top, and garnish with additional pepperoni if desired.
