Simple yet impressive addition to breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • ½ cups Flour
  • ½ cups Milk
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 dash Cinnamon And Nutmeg
  • 1 dash Powdered Sugar, For Dusting
  • ½ cups Maple Syrup

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Put the butter in the bottom of a pan–either a 9-inch pie pan or a 9×9 baking dish. Place pan into oven as it’s preheating, in order to melt the butter while you prepare the batter. Once it’s melted, pull the pan from the oven.

Combine the eggs, flour, milk, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Do not over mix this, just whisk until combined and there are no lumps.

Pour the batter into the pan with the melted butter. Do not mix.

Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Top with powdered sugar and immediately serve it with maple syrup.
