Like smoothies and shakes but hate being cold? Try this spicier twist on a morning breakfast smoothie.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces, fluid Unsweetened Almond Milk (or Water, Coconut Milk, Or Other Nondairy Milk)
- ½ cups Canned Pumpkin Puree
- ½ cups Plain Greek Yogurt
- ½ Peeled Frozen Banana
- 2 Tablespoons Ground Flaxseeds
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoons Ginger
- ½ pinches Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup (optional)
Preparation
Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend until well-combined. Enjoy!
Other ways you can spice it up:
– You can add a scoop of protein powder (I like Vega powder).
– Add 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal instead of the yogurt or pumpkin.
– Add frozen blueberries instead of the banana.
– Add a tablespoon of chia seeds to thicken and add fiber and omega-3′s.
