Description
One of my favorite dishes as a kid was one from my German grandmother. I’m not sure where she got it from and it’s not your traditional quiche but that’s what she called it.
Ingredients
- 5 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 16 ounces, weight Cottage Cheese
- 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- ½ cups Flour
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients together, pour mixture into a round, circular casserole dish (Grandma always used one of those glass pyrex type ones). Bake 30-40 minutes uncovered or until quiche is browned on top and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Quiche should be fluffy and kinda spongy/springy when you touch it.
