Red Sangria

Description

My favorite sangria recipe, best made the day before.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750ml Bottle) Merlot
  • ¼ cups Triple Sec
  • 2 whole Oranges, Washed And Sliced
  • 1 whole Lemons, Washed And Sliced
  • ¼ cups Sugar

Preparation

1. Add sliced oranges, lemons and sugar to a pitcher; mash gently.
2. Stir in Triple Sec and wine, mix.
3. Refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8-12 hours.

Serve with ice cubes and a slice of lime.

Note: cheap full-bodied red wine works great. I used Barefoot Merlot.
