Restaurant Style Pork Fried Rice

Description

Chinese fakeout takeout fried rice with pork, brown rice, vegetables and eggs.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (10 Oz. Size) Frozen Brown Rice
  • 3  Boneless Pork Chops
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 cup Frozen Vegetables (corn, Peas, Beans, Carrots)
  • ½ cups Frozen Edamame
  • 2  Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil

Preparation

Microwave packages of frozen rice and cool.

Cut pork chops into small strips or chunks and saute in olive oil until no longer pink. Add salt and pepper. When pork is almost fully cooked, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add in rice, frozen vegetables and edamame. When vegetables are thawed in the rice mixture, push rice to the sides of the pan and add eggs. Scramble eggs with a fork and when fully cooked, distribute egg throughout rice.

Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook for a few minutes to get a little crispy and adjust seasoning as needed.
