With fresh tomatoes and just the right amount of seasonings, this Restaurant-Style Salsa will wow your taste buds!
Ingredients
- 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes With Juice (I Used Basil, Oregano, And Garlic Seasoned Tomatoes)
- 2 Roma Tomatoes, Roughly Chopped
- ½ Red Onion, Chopped
- ¼ cups Cilantro
- 1 Lime, Juiced
- 1 clove Garlic, Peeled
- ½ Jalapeno Pepper, Stem Removed, Seeds Scraped Out (optional)
- ¼ teaspoons Cumin
- ½ teaspoons White Sugar
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ½ teaspoons Pepper
Preparation
In a blender, combine the diced tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, jalapeno (if using), cumin, sugar, salt and pepper.
Blend until it reaches your desired consistency. Adjust seasonings, if needed.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips or refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
Notes:
1. Salsa will keep in the refrigerator for up to five days.
2. Salsa is versatile depending on your tastes. Feel free to omit jalapenos or cilantro; add more garlic, etc.
